Chef's Affair 2009
The Network held its second annual "A Chef's Affair" on November 7th and what an evening it was! The "Taste of Spain" theme was captured by fine wines and gourmet masterpieces of Spanish origin - donated by the best culinary artists in our area. Flamenco artists added to the mood with dances and guitar pieces.
Our signature special fundraising event remains an invitation only affair and the 2009 version was well attended by guests of corporate sponsors and past and present donors.
Co-emcees Mayor John Engen and Ray Risho regaled the crowd - John with his special brand of humor and heartfelt appeal for support and Ray with his expert introductions of the chefs and their exquisite dishes.
We are happy to offer an evening unique in its combination of class and fun - and especially pleased with an exciting and different fundraising element built around a chance to win one of two Hope Diamonds - offering Hope for hungry Montanans thanks to Studio Pandora in Missoula.
Our event begins with the generosity of the chefs. This year we owe a special debt to:
Beth and Susan Higgins - Two Sisters Catering
Jim Tracey & Laura Waters -The Red Bird
Pearl Cash-Pearl Café and Bakery
Ana and Jason Willenbrock - Posh Chocolat
Erin Crobar - Finn & Porter
Peter Lambros and Andrew Martin-Caffé Dolce
Abe Risho-The Silk Road
Wes Coffel-The Resort at Paws UpThis event could not have been a success without the following organizations:
