SNAP Outreach Resources
Increasing SNAP participation through outreach is one of the most important things we can do to help our neighbors throughout Montana achieve economic self-sufficiency. SNAP not only provides a nutritional safety-net for Montana's low-income residents, the program also serves an effective stimulus to the local economy. In addition to infusing federal money directly into local markets, every dollar spent with SNAP is estimated to generate $1.79 in total economic activity, supporting businesses and creating jobs.
